Miami Arts Charter School offers all students a coherent, rigorous and relevant academic curriculum. The core instructional program is directly aligned with Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and Curriculum Frameworks.  Aligned with the Miami-Dade Student Progression Plan, the course of study covers language arts, mathematics, science, history/social science, health, visual and performing arts and physical education.   There is also a community service requirement for graduation. Academic classes are held each day. Taught by a credentialed faculty, the academic classes prepare students to earn admission to the college or university of their choice.
