A principal goal of Miami Arts Charter School is to provide students with guidance and direction regarding post-secondary education goals and career planning. In addition to its rigourous course curriculum in both academic and arts areas, the school provides proactive college assistance planning to its students. Students are monitored and must periodically meet with guidance staff regarding graduation requirements, academic progress, the student progression plan, grade point average, course selection and college readiness.

We highly encourage students to pursue summer programs that enrich their educational experiences beyond the regular school program. Additionally, the school places a tremendous amount of effort toward assisting students gather college information, application and deadlines, entry requirements and contact information for the college programs of their choice.
