Reading, writing and speaking languages other than English will be taught to each student. The goals of foreign language instruction will not only address functionality and oral skills, but also an understanding of the respective culture(s) of that language. A minimum of two years will be required at the high school level (9-12).  The following is a list of courses offered in grades 6 through 8: 

• M/J Spanish Beginning
• M/J Spanish Intermediate
• M/J Spanish, Advanced

• Spanish Language for Spanish speakers I, II, III
•       Spanish Language for Non-Spanish speakers
• AP Spanish Language
